| Sale of Breeding Stock: In a typical year, we sell the top half to three quarters of our lambs as breeding animals. Virtually all of these lambs are registered, although we occasionally sell wethers or unregistered ewes to spinners flocks. Adult rams and ewes are available on a more limited basis. In our breeding stock, we look for a balance of good breed character (including attractive horns, markings), sound Jacob conformation, and wool quality. We expect hardiness, sound mothering ability, and a “family-friendly” temperament. We exhibit at a limited number of shows to introduce our Jacobs to other breeders and to the general public, and usually have Jacobs for sale at those events. We can often assist with delivery of sold animals. | ||||||||||||
